We read every message. Whether you've spotted a factual error, have a product to recommend, or want to talk to an editor, we're glad you're here.

Editorial & Corrections

Found a factual error, an out-of-date price, or a claim we didn't source properly? Please tell us. Correction requests are read by an editor and — where warranted — result in a public update noted on the affected article and in our Editorial Standards corrections log.

Product Recommendations & Tips

Have a product you think we should review, or a septic-industry story worth investigating? Send it our way. We can't respond to every tip individually, but we read them all and prioritize based on how many readers a story could help.

Individual Diagnostic Help

We're often asked to diagnose specific septic system issues — a smell, a slow drain, a backed-up drain field. Please understand: we can't do this responsibly by email. Every system is different, and the wrong advice could cost you thousands of dollars or damage your property.

What we can do is help you find and evaluate a licensed septic contractor in your area. Our Costs & Installation section explains what to look for and what fair pricing looks like.
